Established in 2024 and headquartered in Denmark, BMS Stangeland was founded by the owners of BMS Group and Stangeland Gruppen to provide long-term ownership and strategic oversight of the group’s operating companies in the Nordic region.

Stangeland Gruppen is a family-owned group located in Sola, Norway with roots dating back to 1959. The foundation is mechanical contracting, with Stangeland Maskin as the locomotive. Stangeland Gruppen has operations within construction, property as well as recycling and the environment.
Subsidiaries
Through its ownership of Havator and Crane Norway, BMS Stangeland oversees a Nordic heavy lift group with a total of 58 locations across Norway, Sweden and Finland. The subsidiaries operate independently under their respective brands, serving customers locally while benefiting from a shared ownership structure.
This structure enables collaboration, knowledge sharing and long-term investment across the group, while preserving local presence, operational responsibility and distinct company identities.
